Role Overview

Snap Finger Click is a small, agile studio where things move fast and every person's contribution is critical.

Producer

We are looking for an organised and communicative Producer to join us on a 9-month contract. You will step in as the dedicated Producer for one of our flagship titles, taking full ownership of the day-to-day running of the project. This is a fixed-term position with a potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.

What You Will Do:

  • Set Clear Priorities: You possess a natural instinct for what is most important, filtering out noise, and keeping the team focused on the key deliverables. You take pride in keeping project planning active, realistic, and up to date.
  • Strong & Efficient Communication: You have sharp writing skills and can distill complex updates into clear, concise messaging for team members and external partners alike. You value efficient communication, knowing how to leverage async tools effectively, while recognising when jumping on a quick call is the smartest move.
  • Be Ready to Adapt: You're skilled at context switching across emails, chats, and tasks without getting overwhelmed. You know how to gauge urgency, effectively triaging requests so that genuine blockers get solved first. When client requirements shift unexpectedly, you take it in your stride and quickly re-align the team.

Key Responsibilities

Meeting Preparation and Facilitation

  • Set clear meeting agendas to ensure all sessions have a defined purpose and objective.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary pre-read materials well in advance, allowing stakeholders to arrive informed.
  • Lead both internal cross-discipline meetings (Art, Engineering, Design, QA) and external partner syncs with confidence and clarity.
  • Maintain the pace of discussions, ensuring all agenda items are addressed while respecting participants' time.

Action Management and Bug Triage

  • Rigorously track all action items, decisions, and dependencies emerging from meetings.
  • Assign clear ownership and deadlines for every task, ensuring accountability across the team.
  • Proactively manage the bug database, ensuring all issues are logged, categorised, and prioritised effectively.
  • Facilitate daily bug triage with QA to assess severity, priority and allocation of any reported issues.
  • Foster a constructive approach to bug fixing, ensuring clear communication between QA and the team to minimise friction.

Communication

  • Write a comprehensive weekly Production Update, standard for all our projects, to keep the team and stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Communicate effectively across written, verbal, and chat channels (Teams, Google Chat, email) to maintain a steady flow of relevant information.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and creative disciplines, translating complex requirements into actionable production plans.

Requirements

  • 1 Three to five years of experience in a production role within the games industry, ideally with experience shipping or supporting live-service or online multiplayer titles.
  • 2 Exceptional organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail regarding schedules, tasks, and follow-ups.
  • 3 Excellent written English and grammar; a background in journalism, professional writing, or AAA client management is preferred.
  • 4 Strong interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to lead client meetings and manage varying stakeholder expectations.
  • 5 Experience with Agile development processes and project management tools such as Hansoft (P4 Plan) or Jira.
  • 6 A hands-on approach, ready to jump in and support the team whenever needed.
  • 7 Based in the United Kingdom.
