Twitch Channel Host (Part-Time Role)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Twitch Channel Host to present and play our games live on camera, from our studio in Brighton (UK). In this role, you’ll work closely with the Development Director to establish a regular TV show that fits in with our company brand and vision. You’ll plan entertaining live streams that show off our products and build up a loyal audience. You’ll engage and interact with the viewers throughout the show, providing lively commentary.

We're Snap Finger Click and we love to make awesome multiplayer games that you can play together in the living room or online over streaming video platforms. In 2016 we released our debut title - ACT IT OUT! A Game of Charades - on PlayStation 4 and Wii U, and we included the innovative feature of letting the host play the game with their viewers over Twitch and YouTube. We enjoy building experiences that bring people together, and we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of new forms of entertainment. We’re a small team, and we’re looking for the best people to join us.

Please note that this is a part-time entry-level role with flexible hours, and could easily be conducted around studying or other work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our upcoming studio, so if you’re someone who’s passionate about media and wants to be part of a creative team, we want to hear from you!

In this role you must:

  • Present with clear commentary, confidently performing in front of the camera and online audience
  • Help to define our online TV channel
  • Grow our existing audience into a large, loyal community
  • Help out with social media updates where appropriate for advertising and marketing the show
  • Maintain an expert knowledge of our products and represent them accordingly, including answering questions live from viewers
  • React quickly to any unexpected circumstances that may occur when live, always representing Snap Finger Click positively
  • Be willing to work flexible hours over primetime viewing slots, e.g. Friday and Saturday evenings

Key skills required:

  • A keen interest in television production
  • A good knowledge of streaming video platforms such as Twitch and YouTube
  • Well organised and self-motivated, with a strong personality and a clear voice for presenting
  • Previous experience in radio or TV presenting would be advantageous
