We don’t have any control over the different stores which sell our games, which means that unfortunately it’s not possible to transfer your purchase from one platform to another.

Yes, definitely! There are also some features in the game settings which makes it easier to play the game remotely, and to better deal with the slight video delay which occurs on these video chat services.

Thanks for your interest in streaming our games. Keys for ACT IT OUT, ACT IT OUT XL, It’s Quiz Time, and Awkward, can be requested through Keymailer. Keys for Family Feud are managed by Ubisoft.

In most cases this is either caused by a PC that isn’t powerful enough, or due to a hardware conflict. Before investigating further, please make sure your PC specification matches the minimum requirements for the game. You can find the minimum requirements on the Steam store page of the game you've purchased.

If your PC is powerful enough, the first step will be to make sure that the drivers of your graphics card are up to date. If you don’t know how to update the drivers then you’ll have to first find the manufacturer and model of your graphics card. The next step would be to go to the manufacturer website, in almost all cases there are instructions there on how to update to the latest drivers. Another recommendation would be to make sure your version of Windows 10 is completely up to date.

If this doesn’t work we recommend switching off the PC you are using, leaving it switched off for at least half a minute, and then turning it back on.

Another possible solution is to uninstall the game, and reinstall it again.

Refunds happen through the store that you bought the game from. In our experience most stores are quite flexible with giving their customers a refund.

ACT IT OUT, ACT IT OUT XL, It’s Quiz Time, and Family Feud, are all family friendly games. These four games carry a 3+ / E for Everyone age rating.
Awkward is not suitable for audiences under 18 however, due to featuring mature content.

All Snap Finger Click games are independently rated by PEGI, ESRB, and several other age rating boards.

Please note that age ratings for video games only refer to the suitability of the game content, and not the difficulty.

The website TrueAchievements.com automatically updates its Achievement overview based on when you are looking at the website. For example, if we have an Achievement that only unlocks on a Saturday and you're looking at it on a Wednesday, then TrueAchievements.com will list it as 'Unobtainable'. However, when you look at it on a Saturday, the Achievement will be listed as being perfectly achievable.

Windows only supports one application accessing your webcam feed at a time, so this issue typically happens if other software that uses the camera feed (such as OBS) is booted before the game. To resolve this, you can try the following:

Make sure no other software that uses the camera is running when you first boot up the game. You can safely boot this software once the camera feed is working in the game.
If you can’t easily determine which software is using your camera, try to disable or disconnect the camera where possible, then boot the game and start Live Show. Try re-enabling the camera at this stage.

Currently It’s Quiz Time is the only game that works with a phone as a controller. Please join our Discord at discord.gg/snapfingerclick to hear more about what we’re working on next and if phones will be supported.

ACT IT OUT! is very similar to a classic popular game called acted charades, which is a game of pantomimes. However, not all cultures are familiar with the rules of charades. When you start the game make sure to go to the Help-area to find the rules in more detail.

The game also features modes for singing, drawing, and describing.

Yes, you can. Just go to the game settings, and in there you will find the option to enable or disable certain playtypes.


Since the game was released in 2017 it unfortunately means that on rare occasions (typically once a year) the companion app isn't compatible anymore with Apple or Google's rules for their stores. We do still actively update the companion app to avoid this situation, especially since it means the app can disappear from the store, but unfortunately it occasionally causes the issue that the app just isn't available for download anymore. We deeply apologise for this inconvenience and appreciate that it's very frustrating.

When this happens we recommend that you check our Discord for updates. In most cases the companion app will be back for download in a few days, we typically recommend checking our Discord and waiting until it's back.

Temporary Workaround for Android phones (proceed at your own risk):

If you own an Android phone and are relatively technically savvy then we do have a temporary workaround. Please note that we can't provide any support on this workaround, especially not on anything related to your phone, and that if you decide to proceed it means that you're doing this at your own risk.

You can download the APK file for the companion app here. Please note that this is the only place we offer this file for download, and you shouldn't download it from any other sources (unless it's from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store of course). For technical users: the CRC-32 for the APK is E2DB8929. Now install the APK onto your Android phone.

Unfortunately there is no temporary workaround for iPhones.

We'd love to, and we regularly talk with the publisher of It's Quiz Time (Vision Games) to decide on future updates. Since Vision Games officially owns the game they are the ones who make the final decision on what updates get released. When we know more we'll make sure to announce it on our social media channels and in our Discord.

'Room Code 0' happens when the game can't communicate with the game server.

The game server is hosted on Amazon’s ‘AWS’ network, which are some of the most reliable servers in the world. However, all servers can experience the occasional downtime. Here you can see the status of Amazon’s servers: status.aws.amazon.com.

In most cases Room Code 0 is caused by a network problem with the PC or console that the game is being played on.

If your game is having trouble connecting to our servers then we recommend you try the following possible solutions first:

1) Close the game down and reopen it
2) Uninstall the game and then reinstall it
3) Turn your Console or PC off for 1-2 minutes, then turn it back on
4) Reboot your router
5) If you are using a computer, you may need to disable your antivirus software and/or your firewall to allow your game to connect to the internet. If your antivirus software has already quarantined your game, you’ll need to go into that antivirus’s settings and un-quarantine it.

It’s also worth trying to find out what NAT type you’re on. There are three main NAT types:

Open (Type 1)
Moderate (Type 2)
Strict (Type 3).

Moderate and Strict NAT types limit the connections your gaming console or PC can make to other gaming consoles or PCs. For example, Moderate NATs can only connect with gaming consoles or PCs using Moderate or Open NAT, and Strict NATs can only connect with gaming consoles or PCs using Open NAT.

This might sound complex, but ultimately, an Open NAT will provide the best connection quality. You can find your NAT type in the network settings section on your console. The easiest way to get a console to use an Open NAT type is to put it into a DMZ. This involves going into your router settings, but in most cases this is quite straightforward. We suggest checking the instruction manual for your router (or contacting your ISP) on how to set this up, but it typically involves giving your console a static internal IP address, and then letting your router know that the IP should be inside a DMZ.

Please note that you shouldn’t put your PC inside a DMZ since this can cause security issues.

If you have a VPN it is also worth experimenting with disabling and enabling your VPN. You can also try switching between a wired ethernet and wireless wi-fi connection.

That's correct, your viewers don't need the app. When you select the Live Show option from the menu screen only you have to join the game. The game will then start constantly looking at all viewers in your channel, and will let them play along through the chat.

Stream friendly mode is an option for players who want to play the game with other players using the companion app, but instead of playing in the living room they play using Twitch or YouTube.

When you enable this mode it will give everyone more time to submit their answer from their phones. We also recommend creating a custom playlist in this case, so you can also pick rounds that are more suited for dealing with any stream delays.

Yes, you can play the single player ‘Solo Score Attack’ mode with a controller (a phone is also supported). The other game modes require a phone to play as there are gameplay mechanics that use features of the phone such as touchscreen and secret information.

This bug can happen in occasions where the app wasn't able to save the profile information from one of the players. Typically this issue is caused by one specific phone.

We recommend first finding out which phone is causing this problem. The easiest way to do this is by starting the ‘Play with Friends’ mode with just one phone at a time.

Once you’ve identified which phone it is, you might be able to resolve the issue by making a change to your saved profile on your smart device. Open the app and select the Settings cog in the top-right corner, then select 'Profile Settings'. Select 'Screen Name' and change it to anything else, then go back to save (you can change your name back if you wish when you next start a game).

Another solution is to clear the app data and its cache. Please check the (online) manual of your phone in order to find out how to do this.

If those solutions don’t work, we recommend that both the Companion App, as well as the main game, are completely uninstalled, and then reinstalled.

Live Show in It’s Quiz Time has a built-in camera feature to make the player the co-host of the show alongside the virtual host, Salli. When It’s Quiz Time was in development, all Xbox One consoles were compatible with Kinect so this was not foreseen as an issue. Unfortunately later Xbox One consoles that do not support Kinect cannot be used to play Live Show, unless a converter is used.

The Live Show mode still works as normal. However, the option to receive ‘stream alerts’ isn’t functioning as expected due to some changes Twitch made.

To play the Live Show mode as normal just make sure to skip the option to link your game to your Twitch account. When you start the Live Show mode you will have a screen where you can enter the name of your Twitch channel, once you've done this you will be able to play this mode with your viewers.


The data you see to find out how other players have answered is live. Whenever the screen shows up it will start reading the data from our server. Whenever you as a player answer a question your answer will first get anonymised, and then sent to the server.

The Dirty Laundry achievement requires you to answer 1000 questions. Depending on which game modes are played, this should take an average of around 100 games. This is the most difficult achievement to earn in the game and is expected to take some time, but it will eventually unlock.

Officially Live Show in Awkward only supports one host answering the questions. However, there’s nothing to stop you unofficially organising this! On our own streams, we often take turns to let different hosts answer the questions and let the viewers know in advance who is answering.
