View Terms & Policies Portal →Our Commitment to Children & Young People
As a game publisher, many of our products and online features are likely to be accessed by children and young players. We design all our Services in strict conformance with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code). The best interests of the child are a primary consideration in everything we build.
We utilize neutral age-gates (such as date-of-birth requests) across our games and online platforms to accurately identify players under 18 without encouraging false reporting.
For any user identified as under 18, all non-essential data collection, public profiles, location sharing, and targeted features are switched OFF by default.
VGP does not collect precise GPS geolocation data. Broad region localization is kept off by default for minors and used only where strictly required for online matchmaking server selection.
We strictly prohibit behavioral profiling, targeted advertising, and marketing analysis using data collected from players under the age of 18.
Our games are designed and audited to ensure we do not use manipulative design tactics ("nudge techniques") that encourage children to lower privacy settings, share unnecessary data, or make impulse purchases.
What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information through both Active Collection (data you explicitly provide) and Passive Collection (technical data gathered automatically as you use our games and services).
